Data Reporter
• Reported on a variety of in-depth stories, primarily focused on the influence of money in politics, and lead data analysis portion of major projects done in partnership with other reporters
• Revealed why Pennsylvania had one of the worst youth vaccination rates in the country, resulting in an editorial from the PA Secretary of Health and changes in the state’s vaccination policy
• Discovered the people behind a company funding attack ads before the 2015 PA Supreme Court election
• Conducted data analysis on projects about antipsychotic prescription patterns at youth detention facilities, a lack of disciplinary actions in the PA State Police and cataloguing every drone company operating in PA

• Worked with reporters from across the newsroom on data analysis for their stories
• Analyzed OSHA accident data for an A1 story about the dangerous work of industrial tank cleaners
